Player rules

For everyone who plays FLUNG Party games, the Dailies and friend leagues. Last updated 30 October 2026.

The short version

• Use a nickname. Not your full name. Never put your address, school, phone number, email or other apps’ usernames in a name or an answer.
• Be kind. No bullying, threats, hate, swearing at people, or anything sexual. No pretending to be someone else.
• Keep room codes and league links private. Only send them to people you know. Never post them publicly.
• Never arrange to meet someone you only know from a game, and never move a chat to another app because someone asks you to.
• If something feels wrong, stop and tell an adult you trust. Then report it to us.

What hosts can do

The person who starts a Party game is the host. Hosts can remove anyone from their room with the Players button. A removed phone leaves the game straight away and can’t join that room again. Hosts can also hide an answer from the big screen in HIVE MIND. If someone keeps causing trouble, the host can start a new room with a new code.

What FLUNG does

• Names are checked before they appear: rude words, links, @names, emails and phone numbers are refused. Typed answers are checked too.
• Party rooms are not recorded. We can’t see or replay what happened in a room, so please tell us what you saw when you report it.
• For friend leagues, we can remove a nickname, scores or a whole league if they break these rules.
• We read every report. If you give an email address we reply, normally within 2 working days. We use what you tell us to improve the filters and the rules.

How to report

Use Report a problem (there is a link on every Party and Daily screen), or email hello@flung.live. You don’t have to give your name. Tell us the room code or league code if you know it, and what happened.

If anyone is in danger right now, call 999. If you are worried about how someone is talking to you online, you can also report it to CEOP at ceop.police.uk, and you can talk to Childline for free on 0800 1111 or at childline.org.uk.

Grown-ups and purchases

Streamers who use FLUNG on their channels must be 18 or over and also follow the streamer terms. Nothing in the Party games or Dailies costs money. If paid content packs are added later, buying them will be for adults only.
