Who we are

FLUNG Live (flung.live), a sole trader business at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom, is the controller of the data below. Contact: hello@flung.live.

What we collect, why, and for how long

• Streamers: platform, username, email, which terms you accepted and when, and a Stripe customer reference. Used to run your account, send your overlay link and bill you (lawful basis: contract). Kept while your account is open and for 6 years after for tax records. Cards are held by Stripe, never by us.
• Gift ledger and invoices: for each gift that went through your game, the viewer’s public username, side, coins and our gift value estimate. Used to calculate fees and leaderboards (contract). Kept 6 years for tax.
• Viewers in a FLUNG stream: your public platform username as the platform shows it, which side you joined, coins gifted through the game, and game moments (knockouts, clutch saves, round MVPs). Used to run ranks and the Hall of Fame (lawful basis: legitimate interests in running the game; you can opt out any time). Kept until you opt out, or 24 months after your last FLUNG activity.
• What we don’t keep: chat messages and Sky Banner text are used live on screen and never stored. We don’t build advertising profiles or sell data.
• Waitlist: username, platform, email, follower estimate and agency, with your consent, to invite you. You can unsubscribe from any email.
• On your device: the demo stores your settings and demo scores in your browser’s local storage. Selfies in the demo stay on your device and are never uploaded. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. We count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn’t identify you; the stream overlay isn’t counted.

Children

Streamers must be 18 or over. Viewers of a stream may be younger: for them we only process the public username the platform already shows, plus game points and moments, never contact details. Any viewer (or their parent) can ask us to remove them.

Who processes data for us

Vercel (hosting, USA), Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email). Live platform events come from Twitch’s public chat, Google’s YouTube Data API and, for TikTok LIVE, the third-party connection service TikTools. Where data leaves the UK, these providers use approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to its use, or be removed from every leaderboard, by emailing hello@flung.live with your platform and username. We reply within one month. Billing records we must keep for tax are retained but hidden from public boards. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
